THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
As I was walking thru a flea market recently I came to a booth where a woman was working and I ask her if she was moving in or out. She said she was having to leave to care for an elderly aunt that had no other family. She was having to take her to Mayo clinic and she needed to reduce all the stress she could as she didn’t know what was ahead. I said I’m so sorry. I hope everything thing turns out well and after visiting with her for a few minutes I said “God be with you” and she said “oh He is”. I left feeling like God had led me to talk to her and I hoped that I had given her a little bit of comfort knowing that someone cared what she was going thru.

‘PLEASE PRAY FOR ME’

When someone comes up to me, does not feel well or is facing some battle
in their life, I do say I will remember you in my prayers. God wants us
to pray right then, however, I feel inadequate or worry someone will
criticize me. I have asked God for more boldness in this area of ministry.

I know God is always with me and can give me the boldness I need.

APRIL 6
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
I like to read this, especially at the beginning of a new year.
Scripture: Psalm 90:12 “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
As we look into <year> ex:2019….we look at a block of time. We see 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds. And all is a gift from God. We have done nothing to deserve it, earn it, or purchase it. Like the air we breathe, time comes to us as a part of life.
The gift of time is not ours alone. It is given equally to each person. Rich and poor, educated and ignorant, strong and weak–every man, woman and child has the same twenty-four hours every day.
Another important thing about time is that you cannot stop it. There is no way to slow it down, turn it off, or adjust it.. Time marches on.
And you cannot bring back time. Once it is gone, it is gone. Yesterday is lost forever. If yesterday is lost, tomorrow is uncertain. We may look ahead at a full year’s block of time, but we really have no guarantee that we will experience any of it.
Obviously, time is one of our most precious possessions. We can waste it. We can worry over it. We can spend it on ourselves. Or, as god stewards, we can invest it in the kingdom of God.
The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count?

APRIL 7
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
WOULDN’T IT BE GOOD TO HAVE SOMEONE SAY, “YOU ACT JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER GOD!”.

Ephesians 5:1 “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.”

APRIL 8
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“GOD DID NOT PROMISE DAYS WITHOUT PAIN, LAUGHTER WITHOUT SORROW, NOR SUN WITHOUT RAIN; BUT HE DID PROMISE STRENGTH FOR THE DAY, COMFORT FOR THE TEARS, AND LIGHT FOR THE WAY.
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
Psalms 36:7 “How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

APRIL 9
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God has no grandchildren.
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:

APRIL 10
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
